My web page on Winston a character in the book 1984 In LE we are reading a book named 1984. The main character in this book is Winston. He works for the government. His job is to change any past information that the government needs him to change. In Winston's community, the government is big brother.

So far in the book, we have learned that Winston is a big part of his community. Whatever big brother does wrong in the past, Winston has to change it to what happens in the present.
