1984

          In the book 1984 it is basically about a society that has no rules and everything contradicts itself. In this society Big Brother is always watching you or at least that is what they want you to think. There are these things called telescreens and they watch a person's every move. The main character in the book's name is Winston and he found out a way so that the telescreens would not see him. In this society everything is just one big cover up.

          There are four ministries in this book and they all serve a purpose in this society. The four ministries are the Ministry of Truth, the Ministry of Peace, the Ministry of Plenty, and Ministry of Love. In the book 1984 Winston is a part of the Ministry of Truth.The thing that is ironic about the Ministry of Truth is that their job is to change the truth and turn it into a lie. The job of the Ministry of Peace is to enforce war which is not exactly my definition of peace. The job of the Ministry of Love is to put people in jail.
