Photoshop Specs and Info
- Size is important ... make your background picture to be 72 DPI and 18" wide generally ... all other pictures should be made into 72DPI
- All the pictures of students and Storefront images are on First Class
- If you copy and paste your small objects into a NEW LAYER, it is easier to erase the edges with either the ERASER or using the MAGIC WAND
- Save frequently in the form of Dec7JaneDoePhotoshop.psd ... when completely done, choose SAVE AS and high quality JPEG so that the file is now Dec7JaneDoePhotoshop.jpg ... you turn in the JPG file via email but both files should be preserved in your HOME FOLDER
- attribution is crucial for a picture you take from another Web site ... attribution is never "GOOGLE IMAGES" but always a specific URL ... you can make the font size for the attribution info small of course
- For the Harlem Renaissance person, please put this text in big letters on the picture "Duke Ellington comes to 129th Street" and put your artistic initials (10DQR or 10EAJ or 10JCR) in the bottom right
