Good afternoon build teams,
Congratulations to each one of you on your successes this week with the new computers. It is a pleasure interacting within your classroom using the Internet to bring video from Harlem here to Minneapolis. I'm not sure the video screen adequately displays my huge smile and how much I enjoy sharing with each team member. I really enjoyed hearing about what you found similar and different about the two computers you have worked with. Keep me informed of your progress on Twitter. I'm now following each team.
**Special note to the girls build teams: The message I heard from Ms. Alison today was about empowering girls by demonstrating that even at the advent of computer age, women have been a part of the technology revolution. Ms. Alison is proof that women do succeed in math, science and technology. On a personal note: the love of my life is scientist and she uses computer to study the brain. Truth be told I don't know what these images show, but this is how she works with computers at the University of Minnesota as a PhD neuroscientist: I know Dr. Kimberley is excited to see each one of you girls succeed. Teresa and I look forward to sharing this fields of science and technology with you when you graduate.
The skills you are learning today will empower your futures greatly. Thanks for the opportunity to learn with you,
Ryan R. Fox
